His Aquarius Horoscope
Aquarius is a man of the people, and you need to know this even before you talk to him. Constantly on his brain is a mission that drives him to ensure that just about everything he does is for the greater good of humanity. Mind you, not all the ideas he comes up with are very practical, but his heart is always in the right place. He sincerely wants to make this a better planet on which to live. Your relationship with him is only a sideshow. This you must know, or else you will never understand the mysterious, wondrous, and fabulously talented person known as "Aquarius."
The symbol of Aquarius is the water-bearer, a man with a vase filled with the water of light and life. His goal is to enlighten others, and from the get-go he’ll try to make sure you know a few things, too. This might grate at you at first, but after a while, once you truly understand him, you won’t mind at all. Aquarius can never "belong" to anyone, because he wants to help everyone. That means you can be his special someone, but he will never be the kind of partner who thinks he could never live without you; and you must not pressure him by making him feel you’re depending totally on him for your happiness…or much else, for that matter. While he will give willingly, he doesn’t like to be pushed, particularly not into obligations and responsibilities. He really is convinced he’s far too busy trying to save his portion of the world.
Saturn in its daytime mode is the ruling planet of Aquarius. This makes him very structured but not terribly conventional. In fact, he is hell-bent on doing things his own, unique (and often very awkward) way. He is also very fixed in his method of doing things, which means he can be stubborn about, well…being "different." Above all, Aquarius feels he must stand out from the rest of the pack so people know he is coming to enlighten them to a whole new way of viewing the world. Some of these characteristics can be annoying, but on the whole this character is so wonderfully unusual, you almost have to love him.
Aphrodisiac: Agree With Aquarius and He’ll
Take You Everywhere With Him
Aquarius will be turned on by your mental connection, at least at first. It’s almost impossible for him to have a relationship of any kind with someone he doesn’t respect intellectually. At that moment when he sees the light of comprehension behind your eyes, he’ll probably just grab you and lock lips for a long and meaningful (and maybe even partially painful) kiss.
Friendship: Aquarius Is Everybody’s Friend
Aquarius loves people and is always playing to the crowd. He will have a large collection of friends, but you should still be flattered about being among them. He really isn’t great at listening to small complaints or emotional meltdowns. He doesn’t see life in a way that leaves room for these deep, personal cataclysms. He’d much rather discuss the state of the world and how it can be improved one person at a time and will often hold you accountable for your actions. If you have a hard time taking criticism and advice, it could be hard to hang with Aquarius for very long. But, if you can appreciate his quirky way of dealing with the world, you couldn’t ask for a more sincere and caring person to have in your circle of friends.
It can start to get annoying, though, when Aquarius begins to tap you for money for his causes or when he insists on bringing you along on volunteer duty. Make sure you ask lots of questions before you say yes to an invite from Aquarius, because there can often be a hidden agenda, and you could wind up being an extra body he’s dragging in to add to the numbers. Aquarius is starkly independent but will insist that you also believe in what he’s doing. He gets very wounded, on a deep and personal level, when you disagree with him or make light of his principles. If you want your relationship to get warmer and closer, you’re going to have to be his friend first and foremost, so get used to his basic philosophy: "Everyone is entitled to believe whatever they want; as long as they agree with me!"
Sensuality: Friends First, Then He Can Play
Aquarius is a man of the mind, so he’ll need more than just a warm body to get him excited. In fact, much of his seduction takes place around the idea of getting you all ready for him. He will always want to set the mood, adding the perfect music, the right amount of candles, and other sensory experiences — even incense — to the mix. He’ll be so turned on by the fact that you want him; yet he’ll delay his gratification by acting like he’s all aloof and not that interested. This will, he figures, get you even more excited, and he’s probably right about that! He has the same kind of charisma as James Bond — that International Man of Mystery effect — that attracts women, whether he really is a cool action-hero type or a total techno geek. He’ll use this to his advantage, and he’ll expect you to keep your distance, both emotionally and otherwise. Don’t worry — eventually you’ll get close enough to him to actually have sex.
Type of Lover: Aquarius’ Cool Approach Is
Aquarius might not be terribly effusive about the way he makes love, but the authority with which he takes charge of your body is truly a turn-on. When your bodies finally make contact, you’ll enjoy the way Aquarius approaches bringing you to orgasm. For all his emotional detachment, he seems to have a magical intuition about what turns you on, and he will use this information to bring you to a state of frenzy that leaves you begging for more.
In Bed: Aquarius Will Deliver —
Aquarius is the kind of man who doesn’t stop working on a job until he’s finished, and that will apply to making you feel totally sexually gratified. You’ll probably notice somewhere during the time you’re having several orgasms that he’s had one too, but this won’t necessarily stop him from continuing to experiment with your body and its reactions to his various efforts to make you believe you’ve found the ultimate lover. If he gives you a chance to find the parts of his body that get him excited, do a little massage or tongue stimulation around the area of his ankles. His eyes will roll back, his back will stiffen — and so will other, crucial parts of his anatomy.
In Relationship: Aquarius Is an Enigma
As long as you can accept the fact that you will never get Aquarius to truly "belong" to you, the relationship you build will be happy and sound. There is no reason to believe your relationship won’t be as normal and dedicated as the ones your friends are in; but Aquarius must be allowed to be who he is! The more you can look at his quirkiness with amusement, the better off you’ll be. In truth, beneath that drive to be unique among all other humans is usually a genius that the world will definitely learn from and benefit by. Aren’t you lucky to get all these perks up close and personal? You bet you are.
The Heart: There's More to Aquarius Than
Meets the Eye
Aquarius might seem to be cold, distant, and dispassionate, but he really does have a very tender heart. How could someone who cares so much about the rest of the world be anything but truly compassionate and warm on the inside? That means you have to be very careful with his heart. His feelings can be easily hurt, and the way to do this most easily is by questioning or insulting his intelligence. When he does something you don’t think is wise, be careful about the words you use when you discuss this with him. For someone who thinks other people are too sensitive, Aquarius is rather adamant about expressing his need for extra consideration in this regard.
Breaking Up: Aquarius Will Go Away, but
Don’t Expect Him to Come Back
Fighting with Aquarius is not really grounds for breaking up with him. Most days, there will be some kind of disagreement between the two of you. If you can’t learn to put these into context, or if they become so intolerable that you can’t see the worth in the relationship, you’re going to have to let Aquarius down. He will, of course, know that you have seen through him and you realize how vulnerable he is underneath his rough and Mr. Spock–like exterior; and he will be sheepish and embarrassed — but don’t expect him to apologize. He is what he is and is very rarely truly sorry enough to say the words with any degree of sincerity.
After it’s over, Aquarius will be more than willing to be friends, but he might have to believe your relationship ended because you didn’t really understand him. This often-eccentric individual gets off on the idea that no one could possibly comprehend him because he’s so smart. If for some reason you’ve insulted his intelligence, you may never hear from him or see him again unless you do the "going on the Internet to look him up" kind of thing.
Staying Sexually Fit: Aquarius Needs Help to Stay in Shape
As a chiefly cerebral person, Aquarius is not prone to jump up and exercise just for the joy of it. Still, he needs to keep his heart in shape and make sure his muscles are toned enough to support his skeleton — and his sexual stamina. He is prone to ankle sprains and arthritis, and much of this can be the result of not getting enough fluid to circulate through his body. To keep him hydrated, he’ll have to take water and electrolyte-laden drinks when he exerts himself, and you can hope he’ll go out of his way to do that now and then. His constitution is such that he doesn’t worry much, but he does get bored. This can often lead to overindulgence in salty foods, such as chips, cheese curls, and heavily salted nuts. Encourage him to eat unsalted vegetables and drink water to give his brain a break from whatever he’s working on. His body will respond in a very positive way.
Aquarius does need to be careful about the joints, especially the ankles. Flexibility exercises and massage can help. You can even aid in the prevention of injuries by making sure he stretches and warms up before he engages in exercise, even a brisk walk will do.
